That’s sounds like a question you don’t want the answer to be “yes” to?

Well....yes. lol I was thinking about getting gas. I don't want to take the key out of the truck but want to close the door when getting gas. Wondering if I will lock myself out inadvertently.

With the push to start, I have never had my truck lock my keys inside. I've tried to lock it before using the door button and the truck has beeped and not allowed me to lock it when keys are inside the cab. Can't say anything about non-push to start models. There must be a proximity sensor in the key fob, pretty cool design!

I wish I didn’t have to go to a car wash. I do try to not go as often which is kinda easy right now since I don’t drive the truck very often with COVID. This is mine after having ceramic coating being done.

Inferno was not my first choice either. But it looked good and I got a deal. 17 SR5

Holy tint batman *heart eyes* tint is on my list. Looks beautiful after the ceramic coat.

My paint is pretty trashed, hoping for a good detail & I might tackle ceramic coating myself. I can't justify dropping $1,000+ on ceramic coating on paint that's already trashed.

Here is what not having running boards & front mudflaps gets you after 60k miles.. they will be replaced this spring.

saving up for a roof rack, I definitely want a prinsu, just waiting for a good time to drop that kind of money. Also wanting a lift. Dreams lol. Instead I’ll just go get a good car wash to take off all this snow salt

Well I bought this used in August 20. I put the steps on. I just put mud flaps on yesterday. I couldn’t stand stuff flinging up on the truck.

Yeah I want a lift and big tires new rims. I thought about just hunting down factory roof rails as I don’t really have a need for a prinsu rack

I debated it for a while but finally bought them. Heck I’ve had them for about 2 months but just now put them on. With everything shut down the truck doesn’t given driven much at all. A lot of people don’t like mud flaps but I like how they protect the paint

I drove my TRD OR DCSB directly from taking delivery at the dealer to a shop specializing in ceramic coating where it was coated and had clear bra installed. Supposed to be very easy to keep clean but I haven’t done the full wash myself yet. It was demonstrated to me how I can wash it with any good automotive detergent and then blow the water off with a small leaf blower leaving no spots. I have friends with the coating and I have been impressed. I go to my cabin many times on weekends down a dirt road — when I might otherwise be washing and waxing it, so now I can do a quick wash and blow dry when I return. We will see how it works out. I avoid car washes unless absolutely necessary.

I understand taking them off to avoid excessive snow/mud build up. But I'm just not ever in those conditions enough to warrant NOT having them.

Of course the damage is already done on my truck, better later than never? Lol

I would avoid a detergent soap about as quick as I would a car wash.

How did you get 2.5" lift in the back? I'm using an add a leaf but it only got me 1.5" so I'm considering a whole new leaf pack. TIA.

I will have to investigate. I have not heard of ceramic coating.

There is a block in the back as well. It's under the leafs.
I don't tow much... hardly ever. Therefore the block is an okay option. They aren't really recommended though.

I am referring to auto soap such as Meguiar’s Gold Class Auto Wash, not typical detergent. I should have been more clear.
