Hi and welcome to TW. I think you should pick a truck that best suits your needs. I myself prefer a v6 just for the added power and a double cab long box for more room. Having kids and a dog makes a big difference. I plan on having mine for a long time and don't want have to upgrade because of wrong choice of size.

Welcome to TW! I really enjoyed my 01 Taco 4x4. It had a 4cyl in it and that was the best truck I have ever owned period! I will always regret trading it in.

    Welcome to TW

If you want to go offroading or towing, I'd suggest a V-6, if you are looking for better fuel mileage, go with a 4 cylinder. :)

V6 is for sure the best option. My buddy had a 2002 still does with 340,000km and runs amazing still

Welcome to tw man! When you decide on what truck you want I garantee you will spend most of your time on here gawking at other people trucks thinking "I need that..." seriously vicious cycle. :goingcrazy:

Btw... I like the v6! And I get decent gas mileage if that's a deciding factor. (just drive like an old lady)

    Have fun!!
