I get it. I have a ZT on a wish list. But honestly. It will open up an avocado just like any of my other knives. :)

They all cut. I've lost more belt clips than inside pocket carries.

The most I've ever spent on a knife was maybe $75 and that got me that Gerber LMF

I've lost several knives...i intend to lose several more...nature of the beast ...hence why I can't even begin to consider ZT prices. ..plus like you said...they all cut and will slice an avocado...a ZT just impresses the mall ninjas when you flip it out

That's what I paid, but it's still too much to lose. I don't know why I keep buying expensive knives because I never carry them.

You can get a blem ZT from kershawguy.com for about $70. Still too much for me to spend, and I am happy with my $33 Kershaw Cryo2.

Yeah I've bought several Leeks and a few others from him. This is my latest Kershaw. I usually carry a Leek at work, but lately I've been carrying this one.

    agreed.

i used to work in a tunnel. i carried a super burly and dependable Benchmade. and a backup leatherman. these two things would have made the biggest difference in escape. you had to cut out of these side tunnels blocked with super heavy fabric placed there to channel air. pitch black, when the power went out.

Sexy. Is that handle coated with anything? I'd give it a sanding to remove any varnish and wipe her down with BLO.

    Boiled
    Linseed
    Oil

I strip all wood handled things, varnish is the devil. BLO gets better the more you use it.

Is linseed oil similar to tung oil?
