    havent heard much about microtech, but the stuff ive seen from them looks pretty good

    My new knife - Benchmade Triage 916SBK

    It has a blunt tip (for prying and not stabbing folks you are trying to help) a crazy sharp seatbelt/webbing cutter, and a carbide glass breaker. Love it.

    (got the middle one for shits and giggles at a flea market....girl was hot. haggled down to $10, so eh.)

    Microtech makes REALLY cool stuff but even they will tell you that their knives are "expressions of knifemaking art" (paraphrasing here) and that they're not made for utility/heavy use or even defense. Not a knock on them, but it does make them really expensive letter openers.

    I think it sucks that I can carry a 1911 under my coat but I can't carry a Benchmade auto. They're illegal to carry here.

    no CWP/CCP? you can’t UNLES they break(sorry OZ i fixed it) in and you fill “threatened for you’r safety or someone els in the house” someone can’t just walk in and i kill them. i remember a thread all about this stuff on here before.
