I posted this earlier this year but seeing your police model here's mine, 25 years in. Was on sale at the factory outlet, the holes for the belt clip were drilled in the wrong place. you can see the holes behind the clip. it's filthy! I'm going to send it back for its first sharpening I wonder if they will clean it in a sonic bath or something? if not I'll give it a scrub when I get it back.

Sage 2 is for special occasions. Sage 5 because I had to have it. BM940 almost everyday. Ray for my beater and PM2 for hard use days.

Had the same knife with the coated blade. Great budget knife. Traded mine away a few days ago to a friend. Getting a Manix 2 lightweight in a few days.

Same here. And now I have both. Traded six of my other knives I didn't really use for a Sage 5 and Manix 2 lightweight.

When I first started getting into higher budget knives I really wanted to be a Benchmade guy. But I seem to be buying more Spyderco lately.
I still carry my BM940, 80% of the time. But the Spyder Hole deployment is just so damn nice and easy.

Thats exactly the boat I'm in right now. I can flick open a spyderco with any of my fingers and its just so easy. Its my prefered method of opening knives, then probably flippers, then thumb studs. I was super into the griptillian for a while but i think the deployment on the spyderco stuff trumps any benchmarks with thumb studs that i like.

Picked up a CRKT Hootenanny. For being a cheap knife the flipping action is A-maz-ing. I just wanted a cheap flipper to keep in my truck to play with while driving. I love it already.

It really is. I'm always flipping a knife while driving. Just a habit and keeps me focused. I've already broken two Kershaw Cryos by continuous flipping them. Now this new Hootenanny is a lot of fun.
