What’s the thing on the left in the top pic?

 

5 months later.... the LighterBro that fits the Mini Bic is one of my absolute favorite UL backpacking combo items. I don't even go on a day hike without this little thing anymore. I put a small aluminum caribiner on the keychain ring and clip it into the zipper pull of my pack waist belt pouch (on the inside pull so it stays in the pouch). I'll never drop it while hiking this way, and I use it daily on multi-day trips. Best $9 in my backpacking kit. I've cut countless pieces of KT tape with it, opened dozens of food packages, cleaned my nails with the punch, trimmed straps, sliced pepperoni, and let other hikers use it.

Added a small Schrader to a seat belt thing off eBay. Works good .

Added a couple pieces of Velcro to stop a rattle. Might buy another and just sit them next to each other for width.
Flipped it over. Thought I liked it upside down. It's better now I think

 

After losing my plain edge PM3 I had for a while, I recently treated myself. Always been a fan of the partial serrated.

If you want the big brother to that PM2 let me know. I've got a Limited Sprint Run (only 1,200 made) Spyderco Ti Military Carbon Fiber/Titanium Handle listed on Craigslist that would be a good companion to that one.

 

The PM3 or the Benchmade Bugout will probably be the next knife I pick up.

 

It is much larger as compared to the Paramilitary but it's actually quite nice in the hand. Good balance and the blade is oh so nice and substantial feeling.

99 cents. I bought another so I can put 2 together for thickness. 1.98. total.

 

I was able to handle the Bugout I bought for my dad and it was awesome. After buying my mini griptilian I kinda wish I woulda got the bugout instead. The PM3 might end up coming after the bugout even tho I love my PM2 so much.

 

I'm gonna have to get a PM3. I have had plenty of the 2s

 

Knives like this are holding me back on a PM3. Busse HRLM just back from having a Sheath made.
