I carry a bug out everyday, I have two. My Ranger green is first run so it just sits in the drawer. Check out Rogue Blade works scales, super nice.

The only thing keeping me from buying a bug out is the handle scales...unfortunately I just checked out the company you mentioned and they are not currently taking orders.

Gransfors Bruks splitting maul. Axe forge has been in business 100+ years. The stamped "BK" on the head is the person who actually did the forging.

Dem Sweedes know how to cut wood!

Go ahead and get you one, and just keep checking their site. Every so often they shut down ordering to catch up with the backlog. I am planning on buying their soon to be released micarta scales to throw on my first run or buy another bugout for off-work carry. :D

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Good lord don’t start with the axes and hatchets. I started collecting Grans-Fors axes awhile ago.

Picked up this little jammer. After seeing a couple reviews and posts on it had to get it.

    Thanks!

Yes I was posting in your watch thread too. I kind of forgot about that thread, I don't always get alerts for subscribed threads for some reason. Thank you for the reminder!

I used it for the first time today. That thing is sweet! I could not get it stuck with any of the wet knotty shit i was splitting. Like magic. Already thinking about picking up one of the forest axes, but gotta save up first $$.

I have the same splitter as you, the small forest axe, felling axe, wildlife hatchet and lastly their belt hatchet.
    Amazing craftsmanship.
