Leveled up my fixed blade game. Resisted buying one of these for years as they used to only come with serrations and I worried there was just too much traction on the handle compared to my more bush-crafty knives.

I am so glad I finally got one and I was wrong to wait (except for the serrations). Ergonomics are surprisingly great and comfortable, and the whole knife is just beautiful. Can’t wait to give it a right honest thumping in the woods this week.

Chris Reeve Knives ‘Pacific’. Design by Bill Harsey.

Thats a great knife:thumbsup:. My dad has been good friends with Bill Harsey since the 80’s and has several of his knives.

Bill did a really great design with this one. It just melts into the hand, and has a few useful grips, including a nice choke-up grip with the front choil.

You feel very confident holding this knife. I’m sure if you had to work all day, a smooth handles knife like a Bark River would be a better choice to avoid blisters, but this knife is not as pointy in the hand as it looks.

I've got one too, but pretty positive it's not original. My dad gave it to me when I was a kid. I cut the hand guard off, and took the blade off, carried the brass knuckles in my back pocket during high school. The blades back on it now.

Here's a cool old knife I gave $35 for. I know it was a bayonet, someone cut it down and filled in the locking part with lead. I've read this was common during WWI. No clue thou.

It always bothered me that my PM2 blade was slightly off centered and I didnt wanna take it apart cuz I heard of all the red loctite horror stories from Spyderco. But I finally got the nerve to do it and it wasnt bad at all lol but its centered now and I'm happy. Pretty hard to get a good picture tho haha.

Haha, I actually sold that Yojimbo & bought a back up Native 5. I wanted to like it, loved the compression lock but I just never liked carrying it. I was always afraid the tip was going to snap off. Looks good next to the G10 Native 5 though.

Ended up taking the deep carry clip off of my M390 dividend. Didnt like the look of it and the screws caught my pocket on the way into the pocket so you had to force it to actually carry all the way down. Trying to find a better one anyone have any recommendations?
