You should get one! It’s smaller than my Bugout by a tiny bit. The handle is fatter which makes it super comfy to hold and use. You do pay a comfort penalty with it in the pocket. I feel the width and heft. But I don’t wear jeans. All soft shell pants only. Not great knife-pants.

Super sharp. But right now my Bugout is sharper according to my very unscientific receipt paper slicing test. I’ll strop it and see. It’s no slouch tho.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
This will be my next purchase. It will pair nicely with my CPK EDC3. I love that knife the most out of my collection.

Do you have a strategy to buy one?

I’m a bit lost. I’ll just leave fun money in my PayPal for now

If you're interested, I can be on the look out for one. That's how @Built2Ride got his EDC. Just let me know. They go for around $400+ when you can find them for sale.

Thanks. It will be a slow process putting that much money into PayPal. Without my wife noticing. Hehe.

Yea. My wife still isn’t happy with my Gough Resolute purchase. Hence the subterfuge. Hehe.

Ha ha! I'm glad my wife is not like that. I spend what I want on what I want and she does too. So long the bills get paid and the kids get fed....

Not me. I actually appreciate her vigilance. With her I have a shot of retirement at a reasonable age. All part of the master plan. Checks and balances.

I didn’t have two nickels to rub together before.

Depends if your employer classifies it as a weapon or a tool. We make sure to reference them as tools so the HR folks don’t ban them from work.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
It happens....but it increases their value if there's blood on it, right? :D

Behemoth Chopper bit me good on our first date.

The GSO-10 also got me pretty good after a long day of chopping.
    toqRzJLRmretCT8ZB62wx-HHrJThB6PD29hi10H-_e254b8a17177bf5bf75db19dc4d692d370c84c8e.jpg

There have been MANY more knicks and cuts, but these are the only ones I have recorded "evidence" of.

Same situation here - she knows I have a knife addiction, but not enough of a problem to ever jeopardize our finances or living situation. Work hard, play hard! Enjoy your money and your life - that's what it's there for!!!!

I recently scored my first CPK Field Knife (FK1) for a pretty good deal.

D3V, TeroTuf with Black Micarta liners, which are a perfect (and rare) combo for this blade. All go and some show.

Fantastic design and size for a utilitarian blade like this. I don't know why I hadn't picked on up yet, but it is a perfect in-between blade for the EDC and HDFK. This will likely be my new all-arounder camping/hiking blade. Just a perfect size and blade profile for it.
