I was a steel junky for a while and collected a... few... Spidercos in various steels. Mostly Millies, PM2s, and PM3s but for some reason the Ambitious and Persistence are visually my favorite Spydrcos.

19” handle. Great tool. I don’t even need a hatchet, but I have it. I’ll use it for making applewood chunks for my bbq grill. Up till now, it’s chopped lots of chicken necks and broken down holiday trees for the green bin. It will still ribbon paper.

This is the first Benchmade i bought. # 720?

I’ve sent it back twice since it had a tough life. I did a 5 year project in a tunnel, and we were required to all carry a knife. We needed a way to cut our way past thick tarp bulkheads should a fire break out. I went big.

Been wanting a cleaver for no other reason other than I think they look cool but havent willing to spend a ton of money on one. Picked up this new kershaw version. Pretty cool little knife, it's a bit small but I'll still carry it. Pretty nice action too for the price.

Took it apart and removed all the grease and replaced it with some Knife Pivot Lube. Made the action even smoother.

Finally got a set of water stones from sharpeningsupplies.com (their brand) for $199 Spent some time getting to know them. Standard V edge, convex, scandi, and nonsymetrical. (like Virtuovice) Several different steels. Money well spent! They're great! Grits: 220, 1000, 6000 and flattening stone.

I have ceramic rods and strops too, but this is a step up for hard used blades. Some have been sitting, waiting for the stones to correct some dings.

    Carry on!

The real question and difficult one is, which one is your fav out of the bunch?

Sweet thread! I'll add a pic or two later today when I get home, but here is a list from memory. Just getting into high quality fixed blade field, hunters, etc., but I've been into nice japanese kitchen knives for a while since I used to be a professional cook.

-Benchmade Triage (stays in the Taco on my center console mollee rack)
-ZT 0566BW (this is my EDC, love this knife)
-Winkler Belt Knife -Damascus with flamed maple handle (weekend carry). I somewhat regret this knife only do the F&F vs. cost. The geometry is amazing, but now that I've reviewed Blade Forum a bit, there are much better deals out there. At some point I'll send this knife to a master knifesmith to refine the F&F and really make it shine.
-waiting on my Carothers Medium Chopper!

Too many kitchen knives to list, I am not a fan of powdered tool steels for kitchen applications. Interested on what others favor for metals for various applications. Aogami Super is my favorite metal for kitchen knife. VG10 is amazing as well for a "set it and forget it" person.

Some makers whose kitchen knives I have:
    -Kanehiro (10" Gyuto)
    -Konosuke (10" Gyuto)
    -Masamoto (Deba and Petty)
    -Masahiro (boning)
    -Hattori (paring)
    -Masakage (sujihiki)
    -MAC (bread)
-Global (meat cleaver, though I need to get a cool old school one)
-Suisin (excellent value, 10" gyuto was my line knife)
-Shun (8" western style chef with a huge belly, good for rocking. the ONE I leave on the cutting board and let my wife use)

While not a knife, I thought this crew might be able to help me find something I’m looking for. I want something like this:

    A550397A-8410-40F1-92C9-769A7932B0F8.jpg
    EACC9492-B03D-4016-B332-0C3473B8CAC4.jpg

An edc pry bar/multi tool with a pocket clip. Everyone one I find says it’s out of stock or a newer version has replaced it. Seen anything like this out there?

That’s an interesting little piece. I have had something in the past similar.
I will do some looking and post what I find here:
    https://usa.palmettostatearmory.com...MIu5K-5YuA5QIVjh-tBh14fg1wEAkYAyABEgK8c_D_BwE

    https://www.511tactical.com/edt-multitool.html

    http://nextluxury.com/mens-tactical-outdoor/best-keychain-multi-tools-for-men/

So as you can see, there are variants across the board. This next one I singled out from the list, as it was the only one I found that had a pocket clip.
    https://www.stealthangelsurvival.co...MInNrf1I6A5QIVjSCtBh073Qf_EAQYHCABEgIM1fD_BwE

This concludes my search. I used search terms such as: multi tool, money clip, flat, edc tool.

The first one, I don't know. I found it on Pinterest and it links to knife genie, but I can't find it. The second is the Tora PryBar from Tetatools, but it looks like a newer version, with less functionality, replaced it. Raidops, has a cool one too, but the new version isn't as good and seems to be out of stock anyway. Either of those pictured are exactly what I want. I'm kinda surprised they are hard to find.
