I love them both and I use them for different things.

The 940 feels beefier and stronger than the Bugout, but I notice it more in the pocket. I have used my Bugout for over a year and not had any problems with it and it has handled anything I threw at it. The thing I love about it most is I can carry it all day and forget that it’s there.

I feel like the 940 is for someone who is much harder on their knives than the Bugout. The Bugout is for someone who wants an extremely lightweight knife they can still use, but don’t need something as big as the 940.

I haven’t had the 940 long, but just my opinion.

I want a mini Bugout, but I wish they would have made one to match my full size.

Carried this knife for a year and the scales were dingy and it looked haggard. So bought some Flytaium carbon scales and Blades We Love Ti screw kit and lanyard plug. This thing looks and performs brand new LOL.

I have a Sebenza (same platform) that I really like. For me, this was more about the lunar landing than anything.

For those who’ve never hd a chance, the Sebenza is a damn fine knife and worth carrying.

Man I love the look of the Sebenzas... I just can’t pull the trigger without handling one first and there’s no good knife shops nearby. :(

If you buy from a reputable source, Knives Ship Free, DLT Trading, and even Chris Reeve directly, They'll stand behind what they sell.

Pretty amazing. I mean it does what all knives do but very well and with a quality build. I 100% understand why you'd want to handle one first-it's a lot of money. Definitely get in touch with either of the three.

I love their knives. I have a Para3 with an upgraded ti deep pocket clip. Awesome knife. I took me months to find one to replace it. Ended up getting a Giantmouse. Good to try different knives. I still go back to that Spyderco though.

Beautiful! I have looked at the Gransfors Bruk axes for years but never pulled the trigger. Which models are those?

Lol... same here! I have traded up a bit (a few 2 for 1) and down to around 100 or so now! I have been trading a bunch on knife swap on reddit! Waiting on a PM2 and a Bugout now!

I used to show show my wife a knife and she would be like oh that’s nice and maybe ask a couple questions (how much) and now she says you know I don’t care why do you bother showing me.

I've been carrying this for about a week, Benchmade Contego m390. I like it so much I bought a second one in blue/black.
