I bought this WC small Inkosi a couple months ago, it joins my WC small Sebenza. The good people at CR did the partially serrated blade for me on that one several years ago. No more blade replacement on the Sebenzas since the new 31’s are out.

The WC Star-Benza is pretty nice. Kinda cool they're harder to find these days.

Thanks, this one is a little more rare in that it has the small “Idaho made” stamping.

    Just the basics
I've tried a couple times to get phone pics of this that do it justice. Hard to tell but the red thumb stud and backspacers are nicely anodized. In the pics it looks like a lame paint job.

For those not in the know, what is this? I like its simple styling.

I've been waiting for one for a while. Then I read a bit about the pivot not being "perfect"-it's crazy how obsessed CRK is about the quality of their products.

I'll get one soon enough

It's crazy how quickly they get picked up. DLT Trading got several and just like that, gone.

I've got some cool folders and a couple of fixed blades. But the knives I use most are my cooking knives...IMG_1695.jpg
My Shun classics on the bottom are shipping to Shun for sharpening tomorrow (free lifetime sharpening). Wife just surprised me with a Shun Premier boning knife and carving set (top) :broccoli:!

We love our Classic series too. Every vegetable that comes to the cutting board my wife reaches for the Nakiri.

We'll see. I went on their site and filled out the sharpening service form. there is a processing fee of $5 for the first knife and $2 for each additional, plus shipping. I've acquired mine from different places over the years. The info re: when and where purchased is asked, but not required for service. I've had some of mine over 10 years. Yeah, wife is pretty cool. She loves to cook too and we love a good Japanese knife. I've got a couple of big Henkels and a cleaver for chopping duties but the Shuns get used every day.

Yes. Lock rock. Tim Reeve put out a video a while back explaining it and what they were thinking about doing to resolve it.

And they got another batch! Incoming

Very cool, titanium handles. I looked it up, limited to 2000 units. Bench made is cool because they do a run then move onto a new design. They are truly collectible for that reason.

I’ve been carrying this one daily for about 10 years. I wish I would have bought two, so when the first one wears out I will have a backup. image.jpg

yeah discontinued quite a few years ago. If I come across another one for sale privately I will buy it. Been a great knife. Used hard every day and still as tight as a vault.

I really don't like taking apart Benchmade knives but it had to be done. Wasn't happy with the action from the factory. Felt like the pivot screw was over tightened. Either way I took it apart and cleaned it. Treated it like an integral so I didn't have to deal with the access lock springs.

Really happy with the action now that it's cleaned out and I added the KPL. Opens and closes nice and smooth now with no blade movement and the centering is pretty on point. Glad I did it and I guess I can't really complain for an $80 Benhcmade.

Added it to the Benchmade collection
