Alliance Designs Mini Slim Pickens Half Dress and Full Dress - They've been hyping these up on IG over the past few weeks and looked interesting enough. These are the first button-lock folders that I've tried. There is a secondary detent to prevent the blade from folding out when the button is pressed, and that detent also locks the blade back in when folding it down so they're super fidgety with a satisfying click when the blade is fully opened/closed. I was concerned that they might be too small but the forward finger choil and jimping on top of the blade makes it feel just right.

Holt Specter - I first saw this on Reddit a couple months ago, then in the Holt FB group shortly after and figured it was never going to go back up for sale. The story is that only 4 Specters were made with the "Herringbone" milling pattern on the scales because there was some social media drama with Brian Nadeau aka Sharp By Design so the Holts discontinued the pattern. This one has a Damasteel blade in the Dense Twist pattern as well as Damasteel clip and backspacer with the scales and hardware anodized in the Holt signature blurple color.

Kody Eutsler Persian V2 - I entered the IG lottery over the weekend for the hell of it and ended up winning. This one has milled Ti scales, Zirc pivot collars and backspacer, and Zircuti clip and thumbstuds with a Nitro V blade.

I was talking to a friend the other day about the KA-BAR and how iconic it is, and then realized; oh crap I don't have one! LOL. I had to order one; Just arrived in the mail.

 

an old school Ka Bar not sure how old it is, was my great uncle's. Don't carry it hunting anymore needs a little leather on the sheath and don't want to lose it

Oddly enough the box was already cut open. I wonder if someone was cherry picking numbers or checking for play or something..... I messaged blade hq about it. We will see what they say

 

It's very odd to break the seal on something. I can see where they pulled the knife out too based on the finger marks on the foam. Not a good look
