I do, but haven't done enough that I'd be comfortable selling or taking an order. Forging axes is a whole nother skill to learn to do it well.aybe next time I make one I'll just give it away on here for some real.life.testing.

My buddy Sam forges axes, and they are NICE. He is super talented. Firekeeper Forge is Sam's business. I'd definitely look to him for an awesome axe or hatchet.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Nice, thanks for the contact.
Have you ever made a double edged mini clever? Something to process food on the trail?
I have one that is basic, made by a friend of a friend. Would be interested in commissioning another if interested.

Id like to see what youre calling a double edged cleaver.

But yes, pretty much everything i make is a one off based on what people ask me to make.

    email me at mark@knivesbymark.com

we can go over details, and you can send me a photo or two.

    Thanks

FYI, the renaissance wax i recommended, its used by museums to prevent corrosion. Something to keep in mind is that wax isn't food safe. So i wouldn't use it on any blade i was going to use to cut up food with.

    What haven’t I changed?
Some new knives came in the past few days.

WE Kitefin Gold Shred 20CV #25/320 - Not sure if this was another sprint run or if KnifeJoy was holding out, but they went up on their site late last week along with a copper shred variant. The presentation scale isn't carbon fiber, but is shredded CF with gold leaf encased in resin so there is a some depth to it.

Urban EDC Supply F5.5 - Designed by Jesper Voxnaes and made by Reate, it's a smaller version of his F5 with an Elmax blade and CF scales. This dropped last week and is still in stock.

Giantmouse GMP7 #64/100- The newest GM release from Friday's drop, also made by Reate. It doesn't seem like a practical EDC unless you need to carry a fillet knife or letter opener with you. The blade stock is already quite thin and with the length, the tip is thinner than the tip of a PM2. Honestly that may be the most impressive thing about this knife is that they could put an even edge on it all the way to the tip. But hey, my first Giantmouse GM.

Koenig Arius Gold Dust CF Sprint - Someone on Reddit was nice enough to hold this for me when he listed it for sale because I had expressed interest in it the last time I bought an Arius from him. Clip and backspacer were both polished and anodized gold, as well as the hardware (pivot excluded).

Koenig Arius w/ Carboquartz inlays #10/14 - I got super lucky on this one. KnifeJoy has been putting these up for sale on their site occasionally the past few weeks. The first time I didn't see it until after it was listed, and the second time it was sniped from my cart before I finished checkout. They held a lottery in the Koenig Facebook group over the weekend and I ended up winning one there. This Arius has carboquartz inlays and the titanium handles are in a satin finish instead of the stonewashed finish found on most of the other Ariuses.

That midsize chopper looks like a good compromise of weight/size and utility.
