Ummmm you're splitting hairs when comparing it to some of the others.

Let's ask this what type of use are you going to be putting the knife through. That's where what really matters which is blade shape, geometry, and edge makes more of a difference than steel.

That's very true. I prefer blades that are thinner, good slicing blades. I've heard s90v has great edge retention, but is a bear to sharpen, and is easier to chip because of the high hardness. But if used like it's meant to be used that's not really an issue. I like to use knives to cut, if I'm going to pry or scrape I'll use something besides my knife.

Do you need piercing capability like opening boxes a lot?

    I like M4 better than s90. S90 for my use I haven't seen much difference than some of the others. I have blades in s30, s35, s45, s90, s110, 20cv, m4, maxamet, k390, and a few others can't remember them all.

I've heard really good things about M4, but I work in wet conditions, wasn't sure it would do very good as far as rusting.

Get the blade coated. The Benchmade freek is a good one.

It's not expensive or the best at anything, and it's been beaten and abused. But it's been my edc for the better part of a decade.

It’s the Paramilitary 2 Tanto m4 with rockscale designs titanium critter scales. It’s a daily user that I bought used for a good price since the blade had a couple scratches. I’ve realized that Jade g10 is not for me, so I splurged for these ti-scales

I know it’s overhyped, probably overpriced, and I wish it had the same blade finish as the original, but did anyone else get the Slysz Bowie re-release?

Like the knifejoy chef, the ano blue tends to easily wears down but still looks good. Nice catch tho!

I talked my self out of it last week and didn't even log on to try and get one.... Now I wish I had grabbed it (or at least tried).

Something said it's not that different from the knifejoy chef I have.... Blue ti, frame lock, slysz designed..... And it wasn't the same polished blade....

But now I have regrets. The spine looks so nice and the contoured scales really do make it quite different. The m390 would be a nice steel to try out in comparison to the others too.... Oh well no dancing or paying over retail for me so maybe when they do another run

The drop was a shitshow for sure. The site was humming along nicely until 10am CST hit and then it was server error everywhere from all the traffic. There were reports of people getting charged multiple times for the same order only to never get a confirmation

I read somewhere that KnifeJoy was planning on another drop in about 6 months :notsure:
