Yes it is based off the gerber mp600 that can be bought for alot less. Mine got "thrown in" with a toolbox purchase from the truck. It might be hard to justify the price point when the similar mp600 can be bought for less but it's also backed by snap-on's lifetime warranty and don't quote me but I'm not sure gerber has the same warranty. Break this one and you get a brand new one for free.

I work in the movie industry. Been working on all the Star Wars shows for the last few years. Just finished up the new series coming out “Skeleton Crew” and the DP (Director of Photography) got all of us from the Grip Department a new knife. Very nice gesture of his appreciation for the crew. Kershaw 1365 with the show name on it.

gotta pay to play in the snappy world haha. There are a few differences between the mp600 and the snap one version. Not that justifies the price but then again it is snap-on haha.

I bought it many years ago (maybe 15). It’s their budget/laminate line. I needed something decent but durable for campfires/travel/office use.

Finally thawing out around here. Put a fresh edge on this one recently.

 

So I had an unused ozark trail multiforce 18 in 1. It's based off the wave. I'd seen a few mods online so I decided to do a plier-less multi tool. Moved all the interior tools from the non pocket clip side and the file. Been carrying it for a couple days. Time will tell how well it holds up. Mostly good things said about the tool overall though. It's supposed to be a great budget tool. Hopefully I like this version

 

Nothing super rare here but I picked up a Benchmade Bugout 2 the other day and I’m liking it quite a bit so far. It’s super light and slim so you barely feel it. Plus the clip is short and it sits low in you pocket so not very noticeable, suits EDC quite well. The handle may be a bit too thin for those with very large hand’s however and bit pricey for a daily driver.

 

I’m not a girly girl, but this makes me happy my set is complete
