All I know about knives is I have these.
The smaller 1.5-2.5" blades are what I use regularly. Gerber and the Kershaw.
I clip one of those in my right pocket every morning next to my olight baton pro. Like grabbing keys and a wallet they're always there. 20230923_202433.jpg 20230923_202841.jpg

If you get a chance to handle anything from Winterblade, I highly recommend checking them out. This is the Factor B2, the first "M-lock" knife they put out. Uses neodymium magnets in the mechanism. Extremely clicky and satisfying - the fidgetiest knife I own, no contest, but still rock-solid. This one is titanium and carbon fiber scales and G10 on the lever. I believe the steel is M390.

The green bar acts as a lever that breaks the detent and swings the blade out which is then brought around to locking with another, larger magnet. The button slider disengages the locking magnet, allowing the blade to swing closed. Never seen anything else like it. Thumb flick and reverse flick both work great too.

I pre-ordered his next model, the B3, during a pre-order window that was open for a short time a few months ago. I don't expect to receive it for a few more months (he produces them in small batches), but I assume it's going to be awesome. These are marketed directly by Winterblade and strictly via social media - literally joined Instagram to get a chance at buying one. And they're a little pricey, but some very cool little knives.

I assume he's patented this design, but I'd expect to see something comparable from the big outfits at some point. I've never been able to find where they are made, so I assume the worst (China), but if that was the case we'd probably already have tons of knockoffs so I hope I'm wrong.

They're all over YouTube too - I first head about them on Metal Complex, but nearly all the big knife 'tubers have made videos about them. I'll shut up now before you start thinking I'm part of his marketing team.

No joke I’m betting it has some very interesting and perhaps scary tales it could tell. First time I took it out of the sheath it cut me pretty bad it’s still razor sharp. It sits in the gun safe

It’s a gerber retail display I picked up BNIB on eBay 15 years ago. Double sided, swivel base with locking plastic doors. It’s pretty nice now that the top is sealed to keep dust out and the advertising got pulled off the top.
At the time the seller was trying to get me to take a second one for just shipping which seemed like quite a bit back then.
I still lose sleep about not getting it…
Having limited space keeps the herd thinned down though

    Like, so many.
Toor Knives Chasm black titanium. It has a lot in common with my CRK small Sebenza. I’m probably going to send it in to Way Of Knife for some customization.
