Made by my son Tyler. One of a kind. He inherited his interest in knives from me. Proud dad.

My always carry is a Victorinox Rambler.

Depends on your budget but I really like Wusthof knives.

    https://www.wusthof.com/products/wu...Nw==&queryID=170e3cd08eb0d0f84aaef63b0fb4ac1c

Zwilling for something a bit less than Wusthof but still German made.

    https://www.zwilling.com/us/zwillin...430-002-0.html?cgid=cutlery_steak-knives-sets

Henckels is nice also and priced right.

New leather for the Esee 3. This might be my preferred sheath right now. Two ways to carry - drop leg or at the hip. Sharpening stone pouch and ferro rod make it a nice combo.

3 years later I see this same friend at a men’s retreat last weekend with 103 other men and he calls me outside. I knew he wanted to talk to me so I didn’t think anything of it.

He walks to his truck and pulls this knife out and hands it to me. I said thank you, you didn’t have to do that. He said I like to show my appreciation to brothers who pour into me.

I was shocked to say the least.

That night the 6 speakers also got a knife, not knowing it was from the same man.

    Grateful.

I actually got the knife I’m carrying today from a man who wanted to thank me for pouring into his sons.

Fam, I’m not familiar with this use of “pouring into.” I think I understand by connotation as spending time with, imparting knowledge, etc.

Is this lingo from specific circles or what?

Is it allowable to list knife related stuff for sale here? If not, apologies mods. This seems like a better place rather than the generic BST for knife related items. That said, I am going a new direction with my ESEE 4 and will not be bale to use the sheath I had custom made for it. I paid $134 for it and will ship it to a forum member for a cool $100. It has seen zero field use. Made from ten ounce Herman Oak veg tanned leather and Ritza tiger thread. USA sourced hardware. I am keeping the knife but the ferro rod will be sent with the sheath.

Again, my bad if this isn't allowed.

You’re right on. “Investing in” would be a synonym. “Pouring into” is probably most commonly used in religious circles, but not exclusively.

Just snagged a like-new Izula-II from eBay. Love it for EDC IWB.

Nice. I bought one a few months ago and loved it as soon as I put it in my hand. Perfect for an EDC fixed blade IMO.

Got all 3 of these for $90. Civivi might just be my new favorite low cost knife co. These things feel very solid and are great little flippers. And the stickers are the best part!

Agreed. I have carried an original Izula for work several years now. It’s hands down the best fixed blade EDC I’ve tried. Fast and easy to deploy, sturdy and dependable. Also cheap enough that I’m not apprehensive to damage the edge if I have to.

They are solid and smooth. I have some Civivi Elementum and Ki-V and they are just as good as my WE Banter.

Got myself an LT Wright Pronghorn. They should have called it the Beaver the way it chews through wood.

Over the years, I've picked up a couple of Lt. Wright knives. I think they are a great value. I have the Jessmuk and an Outback 3V.
    Definitely nice work!

    Congrats on the Pronghorn.
