Brand new to the sight. Whats up yall? I Have an 06 access cab PreRunner sport. It has the Toytec 3'' spacer lift up front and 2'' AAL in the back. And it rides like crap! I need opinions on what to replace it with. More the front than the back. I know I need the TC UCA. Thats a given. I want to stay at 3''. But what is the best quality coilover I can get? And since I have a PreRunner a new spindle is not out of the question. But I dont want to go over 3" I here about Icon coilovers a lot. but are they the best? I want a ride were it doesnt feel like my front end is rattleing apart anymore. thanks!!!

To answer one of your questions, Any lift will stiffen the front to some degree. That being said, spacers are going to stiffen the front the most. Icon coil overs are a quality product. They have a spring rate of 650#'s ( stock is 540#'s) And they adjust the height by adding preload to the spring via a threaded coller. The Bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks use the existing spring, but they have 3 pre set preload options to achieve lift. OME springs are replacement springs that achieve lift 2 ways: Increased spring rate (884's and 885's are 590#'s and 886's are 650#'s) and increased length ( 885's and 886's are 1/2" longer than factory). My personal opinion (and for the wheeling that I do) was that the 885's were a good compromise between ride comfort, and off road ability. Spindles achieve lift, as Im sure you know, by moveing the location of the axel center line down. They use the factory springs and shocks, so the ride is just like factory, but the lift height starts at 3.5". Hopefully with this info, you can go from there. :)
