My name is Steph and I'm in good ol' Utah. My truck's name is Tommy. So far this forum has been great and I've gotten some good advice, thanks guys! I was wondering tho if there are any other girls on here? Just curious!

I think its something to do with names that start with T cause its a toyoto, a toyota tabitha and a toyota tommy, go together pretty good, maybe we should get your vehicles together with mine and we could have one hell of a time lol

Well its kinda a family name. Haha. My first Tacoma was a 1998 and his name was Tommy and I was 17 so I don't truly remember how I came up with it. Then I bought a 2005 TRD off road when they first released them. My 1998 was white while my 2005 was black so I called my 2005 "Tommy The Black Edition". Now I have my 2000 which has a 6" lift so this one had been dubbed "The Tall Tommy". And thats my life story...

I traded my 2005 for a 2008 xB because the payments plus the high gas prices were killing me then in March of this year some asshole thought it was a good idea to pick up his cell phone off the floor while running a red light and hit me head on. Needless to say that put me in the market for a new vehicle.

Well I'm not gonna lie, I loved the 4.0L and the 6 speed. And this one has the the little squeaks and what not that comes with older trucks but I always hated myself for getting rid of my 1998. And this truck is a jewel. And its quite a head turner. Plus the smaller payments have given me freedom to put money into the truck in other ways besides just paying for it.
