Yes, that irked me too. I took mine apart and greased it once.

Looked fine. The truck only had like 30,000 miles in it though

Don't see why that would be a problem. I don't think most people even think about until it starts clunking.

If this was me, it would take at least 6 tequila shots before even starting this little project.

I considered this. I figured not caring would be a BAD thing on this particular project :D

    Both sides cut

    image.jpg

To seal the cut line I decided to paint one inch up with the same spray on bed liner that I painted the bumper with.

Another bonus is that I think that one inch being the same color will make any imperfections in my cut harder to pick up...

    image.jpg
    image.jpg

Now I'm just waiting for some help lifting the bumper into place.

Since I had the bed liner out already, I also threw a couple coats on my tire carrier and antenna mount.

Billy was a couple of months out when I ordered the HC rear. Pretty sure there's a wait no matter who you go with though. Billy is a great guy, awesome products, phenomenal customer service. Well worth the wait IMO.

@Bruteforce Fab could better answer you on the current wait times

I needed front brakes so I threw on a set of EBC pads and rotors today. While I was at it, I figured I might as well put on some stainless brake lines, speed bleeders, and change my brake fluid.

    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Part numbers if anyone needs them for the speed bleeders

I didn't even think about buying new pins. So, I cleaned up the old ones with the wire wheel on my grinder.
