Not new to Toyota's; still have a '76 RN23 w/20 R [3rd one] engine, recently sold my FJ 40 that I'd had since '72 and a '74 FJ55 whose primary geriatric life was as a deer lease vehicle. Using an '03 SR5 Pre Runner most of the time these days. Long time gear head, but suffered the theft of a lifetime accumulation of hand tools a while back, so not quite as able to instantly affect repairs as before. Slowly getting more hand tools acquired but feels like I've had my hands cut off every time I go to repair something. It's presently just where I'm at, so I'll make a first post on my present dilemma and see if someone can help me make short work of it, perhaps having been there before. Oh, and I am also an old guy, but can read a schematic, twist a wrench and mutter something like a 'dang!' when I bust a knuckle.
