    Just picked up my new black 09 Tacoma Access Cab last night. I've lurked on the forum for a couple weeks and really appreciate all the info. It definately helped me to decide between the tacoma and the Frontier. I traded in my 02 Silverado as at 77k it was about retirement eligible in GM years. Not that I can really complain, it treated me well for the couple years I had it.

    Purchased my truck from Lia Toyota in Schenectady NY. Things went smoothly. A few notes off the top of my head.

    1. Dealer didnt include an owners manual - I'll be checking with them on that as its a pretty obvious omission.

    2. The truck handles like a sports car compared to my Silverado.

    3. The 5 speed manual seems to engage high and be a little balky between 1-2. Seems normal based on what I've read around here.

    There is an owners manual available online somewhere, I just don't know where. Someone will post it up.

    The tranny is pretty sensitive down low, but you will get used to it
