I've been lurking for a while here researching trying to figure out which Tacoma I'd like to get.

I'm leaning towards getting an SR double cab 5 ft bed. If I was to completely replace the suspension with a King/TC/OME lift and ARB front and rear lockers, would there be any benefit from any trim above the SR?

    Welcome to the party.

You could get TRD Off Road and already have a rear locker, unless you're set on ARB's.

The SR with bed lighting and those little options is $34,307 MSRP. The same options in the Off Road with the technology package is $42,526. That's a mid travel suspension set up right there. (edit) ...which makes me want to come closer to pulling the trigger

If you don't want any other interior features in higher trim packages, that's a grip of money. I say shoot for the one that gives you the best bang for your buck.

You don't want the V6 huh?

    Thanks everyone! Good community here!

SR comes with 4x4, just not rear lockers so I'd an need aftermarket solution for that.
