    the site said get acquainted - well i drive a 2001 dodge ram 2500 with the 5.9 needless to say i get 10 m.p.g. .. a friend said to look at tacomas what better way to find out everything by goin on the exact site so i`ll go on every day and see what you`ll say.. any vets on here [MILITARY ]... i`m probably one of the oldies on here 62 and a vietnam vet... well time to start reading the forum thanks

    Welcome to the club. I came from a 2005 Ram QC Hemi with the 20 inch wheels. Got about 14 mpg and 15 if I drove more hwy miles. I loved my truck but always wanted a 4x4 Yota. Mpg is not that much better for me but does make quite a difference in $. I've averaged 18.5 in the winter and 19.5 in the summer with my Taco. I'm sure coming from 10 mpg you will be very pleased. I love my truck. I loved my Ram too but it's like apples and oranges.
