Nice to have a place to gain and maybe give good info to other Tacoma owners. Thanks so much. You "Greenblazer" have given me a great home made tonneau cover idea... thanks a lot. I am retired ,on one pension, and have gained many skills over my life time as a do it yourselfer. I am capable and your idea is perfect, with perfect info....so thanks. I have priced factory units and they are too high for me at this time. The advantages of your idea are excellent and preferred over the commercial units. So thanks and I hope one day to be able to help some also. It has been -25C hear for the past 4 days ...so I will not start this project for awhile...but when I finish I will let you know...Thanks again.

Thanks to all of you....I now feel warmer than the outdoor -25's we have been getting. I may not presently be a frequent visitor in that even being retired....at 50, but now 60....guitar, skiing, grand kids, wife, drinking and a few more things do take my time....I will do my best to be hear and enjoy all you have to offer and be greatful for your time and knowledge. So day one is a great day....lets see what 1 hour from now brings:)...
    Thanks you guys.....bryanc.
