Hi all. I went and test drove a new DoubleCab PreRunner. Sweet truck !

I've had trucks (Chebby) in the past. Four of them. Last vehicle was a Honda ELement. Very sorry I bought it. No power, bad visibility, uncomfortable.
    Should have kept my truck.

My sister has an older Taco - 90's era I think.

Been looking to replace the Honda with a proper truck.
Didn't care for the Nissan Frontier.
    Chebby ? Not.
    Ford ? Nope.
    Dodge ? REally ?

I first drove a TRD package DoubleCab. I didn't like the seat bolsters. Come to find out it's the special seats in that package. Found another Taco with the regular seats and was very pleased.
Two test drives later and I'm ready to sign.

I'm going to have to wait a few months though as I could quite work out the financing. The dealer did try hard on my behalf, just didn't have enough cash up front. No worries. 60 -90 days and I'm in.

I'm going to spend some time reading this forum and learn as much as I can ahead of time.:D:D:D

    Thanks for the welcome !

I was really pleased with the Taco I drove three times. Great power and comfortable.
Looking forward to October when I can get in one for good.

    Thanks for the welcome !

I'm planning to get a 4x4 DC / SB, TRD / OR, V6 & Tow, Barcelona Red in about 6 weeks.

I figured I'm going to get more than I need instead of compromising.
