HI FROM GRANBY (QUEBEC), CANADA

A few words to say hello to fellow canadians and share a few pictures. Granby is located a 100 kilometers South East of Montréal along highway 10.
The Granby Zoo is reputed and its aquatic amusement park attracts families in large number. It is a well run outfit, very respectful of animals and educative. So, if ever you drive eastward, its a good place to visit. Adequate and fair priced lodging in the area. The region South of Granby, toward the US border and Lake Champlain is very picturesque and features many small villages and rural areas developed by Loyalists immigrants. Historically very relevant. Canadian milicians and locals halted the Finians invaders from the US.
Below are the old Tacoma (2012) and the new one (2016). Same shade, although the photographs do not appear so.

 

... and some more: 2017 is commemorative year of the canadian victory of the Vimy Ridge of 1917 whereas canadian forces overtook strategical high ground held by the Germans. French and british forces had failed to do so in previous years.
The cap below is available at the Canadian Legion Poppy Store online. It makes for a proud Tacoma driver.

My turn to say "Hi neighbour !", homesteader.
I hope you had a positive experience shopping for your new truck. I've always bought Honda/Acura before at the same outlet. I bought the two tacomas at different Toyota dealerships and, in both cases, was subjected to more or less sophisticated salesman techniques to push the client around.
I'll soon be putting a new Undercover Elite bed cover on mine and will show pics and a few comments on the thread dealing with tonneau covers.

 

Did you go to Toyota Cowansville? Shane sparling is a straight and honest salesman....
