Hi, I've lurked on the forum for years but just finally registered today. I have an 03 Taco Prerunner I purchased new. It has 229,000 miles but still looks and runs great. I love my truck and plan to make it to 300,000 before buying another new. Even then I may decide to keep her around.

Not too much customization but I have added running boards, rhino liner, ARE hard bed cover, aftermarket wheels and aftermarket stereo. I've ran Michelin tires ever since the originals were replaced. They offer a great ride especially on long highway trips. I've had very few issues with the truck although one very large issue was the frame replacement done a few years ago.

My catalytic converters are going bad and my check engine light has stayed on for the last year. The dealer said it would be a $1500 to fix so I opted not to do so at this time. Both my head rests have broken lose from the mounting brackets where you can feel the metal bar poking into the fabric where your head would touch. I need to get these replaced soon and was hoping a newer model Tacoma headrest would fit since they're a bit beefier. Any advice or leads on headrests would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I are heading to our Toyota dealer today to get her either a RAV4, Venza or Camry. She hasn't decided yet on what she wants but I'm leaning towards the RAV4. She has 2000 Accord with 201,000 so she's long overdue for an upgrade.

I love the forum and look forward to reading and posting.
