I have an 09 Tacoma 4.0 v6 auto trans 4x4. I was curious if anyone has ever had gear shifter problems? It is very difficult to get it out of park. I have 135,000 miles on her, she is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I was curious if anyone has had this problem. I'm kinda scared that I have messed up the parking pawl. any help would be very appreciated. By the way i'm not much of a mechanic lol

I had a couple instances of weird shifting and acceleration on my 2004, did some surfing and found articles about throttle position sensor issues on 09's . Some just changed sensor and were fine. Some changed shifter selinoid. (spelling not my strong suit)
