Did my HL mount today. Plenty of room between the rail and the shell to slide the mount in.
Did a little Dremel work for the T-nut bolts to fit and then added a few rubber feet to the bottom. Inside each of those rubber feet is a washer sandwiched between a nut and lock-nut so it doesn't wear through the rubber.
Came out pretty good. I am very happy with it.

IMG_3064.jpg IMG_3063.jpg IMG_3062.jpg IMG_3058.jpg IMG_3065.jpg IMG_3061.jpg I had been looking around for a good option to mount a Hi-Lift jack in the bed of my 17OR. I do have the Softopper and I do fold it down so I needed something that for sure would work with that. I came across P&P Engineering. This company makes bumpers, sliders, and in my case a custom Hi-Lift mount for Taco's with a Softopper. I chose a QD option which they welded up as well. You can see the handles in the pics I posted. This option makes getting the farm jack out quickly. About $120 for the QD option and powder coat and shipping. Also Quick Fist add-ons are an option too.

I have tried them and yes they do work well! They need to be kept as clean as possible and lubricated to function properly. Make sure you know how to properly use a Hi-Lift jack because injury or death does happen with this tool.
