I ended up making my own. Obviously, not difficult, but I would have preferred to just buy it pre-kitted and possibly in black. I don't remember everything exactly, but it's all 1/2". I cut the hex standoff down by roughly 1/2"...probably leaving 1-1/2". 3-1/2" bolt. Lock washer and flat washer against the rack, same against the Hi-Lift. I can get better pics tomorrow. Took this through 7 days of trailing in CO. No issues.

Found a cheap and perfectly fitting solution! Don't burn me here but it turns out a cheap Amazon Jeep JK hi-lift hood mount fits perfectly. It uses 2 bolt holes on each side so it's a lot more steady, it stands the lift off the truck just enough to clear the bedsides yet not protrude past the fender flare. It came with all of the mounting hardware, a large thumb screw and did not need 1 modification at all to fit this application. 28$ delivered in 2 days. Would easily work for sand boards on the other side as well

Nice work! Oddly enough, I looked at a few JK hood mounts and thought it might work too. Decided to go the Home Depot route, but that looks nice.

Wonder if these could be flipped upside down to mount it a bit lower without hitting the bedside

They didn't at the time I put mine together. I thought it was odd.
