Hey Everyone! I'm in Montreal Quebec and just got a 1st gen. Taco ... Woohoo! In the land of road salts and dystopic road conditions here (our pot holes are bigger than moon craters) it took me a very long time to find my 1st gen. Taco. .... My plans to find one hatched in my mind right before covid and that put some serious brakes and my idea. The prices of used vehicules went through the roof but I never have up hope :) .... So finally I found my Toy. and it took a solid year and 1/2 to find one that I thought fit the price tag. I almost gave up hope and started looking at Rangers ... lol
2004 v6 4wd ..... with only 212 000 KM ... some rust and a few bugs to work out and hoping to get help from you all when the time comes to tackle the bugs one by one ... air bag light is always on, horn doesn't work, no a/c ... these are the bugs that I know about and we'll see what surprises this 20 year toy has for me but so far - i'm in love! Paid 5k (canadian) and that was
exactly my limit for a 20 year on vehicle.
Hoping to do as much work on my own - with you alls help for sure. Need to look for a used owners manual. I've been so busy I haven't hade the time to take decent pictures.
I think I should hop on to the 1st gen. group and see what's going on there.
    Thanks!
    Iris

Welcome! Northeast winters are no joke mean to vehicles. Check and protect that frame with Fluid Film/Wool wax or similar. Nice truck!
