Just asking for some general information on an SAS Tacoma the high steer is hitting the spring pack. There’s a shim on the passenger side. Was wondering if I could remove that and was considering drilling new holes and inch back on the spring perch to push the axle about an inch forward, so I can get the part of the leafspring that’s flat any help would be much appreciated

I have a solid axle conversion on my 2001 Tacoma. I went to put the high steer on and the arms are lower than the spring packs so the arms would rub. I was wondering if there was any solutions or spacing to stop the steering linkages from hitting the top of the spring pack

Maybe a picture? What axle, what knuckles, what steering, what springs, etc? There are lot of variables. Does it hit all the time or just when at full turn? Does it hit on one side or both sides?
