I am a new member and I am interested in suggestions for a good hitch mount bike rack for 4 bikes. Something that is stable and doesn't scratch them up too much please...

welcome! From experience I haven't put a hitch rack for bikes on the taco, but have on our old car. I suggest one that grips the tires. We had a tray style that did 2 bikes with a frame contact point on the bikes and struggled to load them together due to the various frame shapes. Yakima has some good options. I just did a tailgate pad for the truck..

I like my Thule T2 that I've had for a decade now. No complaints, easy to load, holds by the tires so you don't scratch your bike up, and super solid.
