    I'm from Oregon, graduating college next week, then moving to Southern California for my new job. I figured I'd buy a vehicle here and save a little dough. How long do you think I can get away with having Oregon plates in Cali before a cop tells me to register in Cali. My registration is good in Oregon until April 2013.

    BTW, I've been having a headache with the seat belt chime instructions. I'm doing everything right but can't get the display to do the "XXXXXX" and definitely not "b-on or -off". I know others with 2009 have successfully completed this mod however my truck was built three months ago in Cali (did they change something to prevent me from doing this mod?)
