I'm new here and happy I found a place to be around so much Tacoma info' and Tacoma people. I recently bought a 2011 SR5, Crewcab, 4x4. It came with a 3" leveling kit and 285/17's on ProComp rims. I have found that the tires still rub on steep or sometimes not so steep surfaces and tight turns. Went down to my local "4wheel Parts" and they advised a 6" suspension lift. Said it would clear up to a 35" tire if I wanted to go that large. I have made no extra modifications yet. I plan to spend a lot of time reading here and will post pictures soon. Thx

Welcome! You're rubbing on your cab mounts. It would be A LOT cheaper to cut and weld a plate then do a 6 inch lift to clear it

    Welcome to TW!

I don't think you'll enjoy the six inch lift. In my opinion, they look goofy on a Tacoma. Good luck OP.

Welcome aboard! As others have mentioned, I would avoid the 6" lift. They're more about the "look" than the actual function, IMO. But really it's you're truck so do what you want. There are much less expensive ways to stop the rubbing issues you're having. Look around and you'll see all the info available here. We were all new at one point.
