    Hi im from quebec,i have always been a toyota guy had a ae86 corolla and now just sold my 92 supra turbo i am right now looking for a tacoma,i want to buy something in between 95-97 cuz i like the front grill more than others before bying i would like to know if the engines and tranny are pretty much the same like if it is possible to swap from the 4cyl to a six with same tranny or if its automatic to swap it to a manual witout to much trouble i need some advice on what to look for i dont know much about the engines and trannys thx for your hlp!

    Welcome. Why not just buy a six cyl. instead of a 4 banger and doing the swap??

    cuz its seems manual are more common with 4 cyl and would prefer having a 5 speed
