I have a Voodoo Blue 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport with 72,500 miles. Have the vibration issue through seat and passenger seat shaking on highway since purchased new, been through the tires changed at 10,000 miles from stock Firestone's to Michelin Defenders 80K mile warranty, rotors, Brakes, Load balance, alignment, was told tires are too aggressive (aggressive highway tire lol), rear axle seal was leaking at 40K miles, so after waiting a month for dealer to get parts I called them to ask where they were, one in the following week, they changed the seal, left rear drum, left rear shoes and backing plate. They took it out to test and heard/felt vibration from rear end, put it on rack, pulled plug for rear end and metal shavings on plug with low fluid. complete rear end changed and still have vibration. Dealership said they fixed the truck but put on repair order that truck has slight vibration still and service advisor says "we fixed the truck, there's nothing else for us to do." I mentioned to dealer to check mid-shaft bearing from the start which they did not. Another dealership said they won't even touch the truck because it's a known issue and he was surprised the other dealership even tried to fix it. I've heard of the shims for lifted trucks on the mid-shaft bearings to possibly fix the vibration but mine is stock, and I've heard to just replace the driveshaft with custom one-piece shaft to fix. Contacted the local lemon law lawyer and now have a lawsuit against Toyota for breach of contract for not honoring 100K warranty I purchased. Letting this thing vibrate until the damages offer gets good enough than what it is now to dump this thing.
