    Getting there...
Hi everyone. Tonight, I ran into an issue where my headlights wouldn't turn on. They've been installed and have ran fine (other than the halos burning out) for a little over 2 years. Theyre morimoto minis. Asianants did the work and the parts were from TRS. I thought I traced it to a bad ground from the ballast connector.

I was driving on the highway, it got dark and I went to turn on my lights. Nothing. Pull over and fiddle with the wiring a bit. Wiggled the ground wire by the grounding point and they turned on. Awesome. Drive some and they flicker and go off. Pull over and move the ground to where the battery is grounded to the body. Also unplugged the connector from the balla st aND reconnected it. Works fine for the next hour and I think I fixed the problem. Until I get to the hotel I'm staying at. Check in, come back and they won't turn on when I turn the truck on. Wiggle the ground some and they won't turn on. I figure I'll trouble shoot it some more when it's light out.

Last mod I did was to install a blue sea fuse box and light bar. But that was about 9 months ago and there hasn't been an issue till now. I may try to clean the connector tomorrow and hope it's just some crud that's got in somehow. Could it be a ballast going bad? Would a failing/failed driver side ballast also mess up the passenger side? Any help is appreciated! Even more so if you're local in the Jacksonville area haha
