    Hello all,
I tried searching around but could not find any information on converting the hella rallye 4000 compact lights to HID. Has anyone done this conversion before? Would it take the same process as the hella 500 / 700 HID conversion? I am getting ready to order the DDM tuning H4 6000K hi/lo beam kit for my headlights and a kit for the hella conversion but I don’t know whether to use an H1 or an H3 kit for the hella rallye 4000 compact conversion?

I plan on mounting 3 Hella rallye 4000 compacts on my all pro plate bumper. 2 euro beams and a spot beam in the center.

    thanks in advanced :)

the bulb is a h1 55w. i don't see why you couldn't, you will just have to seal the back of the housing with a gromet or silicon

To convert them is not hard, you will have to cut the hid bulb wires so you can get them out of the light itself. I don't have any pics but the light itself. Look n my gallery for some. If you need more let me know

Not a very good idea to cut HID bulb wires
