okay so i got in a new set of HIDs/ballast (single beam) and my cooworker installed them for me. he did a different kind of setup though... he used his own plugs and it conflicts with the DRLs. when i release the parking brake, my bulbs start to flicker and when i switch the lights to on, they still flicker. then once i turn the knob to my highbeams, the lights stay on... he said i would have to purchase something else in order for the HIDs to work with the DRLs.. anyone know? heres the pics of what i got going on... thanks in advance

That is nasty looking!!!!! First thing is to let someone else do it. Really, that connection is doomed to failure. Did the kit come with any instructions??? The HID's I purchaed from Slim were easy to install and work very well.
I'm sorry I can't answer your question regarding the DRL issue.

Plus 10 on Slims Hids. The only problem I had with them is your headlights need a bit adjusting otherwise you high-beamed, that and if you do not adjust them when you switch to "high beam" they appear to be dimmer than regaluar until you adjust them down. Overall though I think the kit Slim offers is great. They differently light up the night. Especially for $120 or so for plug and play.

appreciate the info guys, but idk with this setup i dont even got a relay harness or nothing, its basically from ballast to lightbulb on each side.... the ballast are good quality so i dont really want to get rid of them but it seems like i need the wiring for the DRLs and could use a wiring harness... like the DDM setup. i ordered my kit from DDM before, but had to return it because it wasnt working properly....
