Just installed my retro's and the Halos run in the DRL mode as well as the Parking light mode. They're off with the headlights though the way I have it. I do notice that when I arm/disarm the locks on the truck the Halo's flash as do the turn signals. After reading, seems it's preferred that the Halo's are not optimal to be flashed all the time as it may reduce the life span. I guess I will wire the Halo' independent of all the lights on the tree in the cab and use a separate switch/toggle that will allow me to operate them independent and run them on and off. Seems like a better solution as there will never be any flashing. Has anyone tried this method? (independent)
