I installed an HID kit this morning.
    6000K, 35W slim balast, with hi/lo
I was just curious to know if you all put the rubber back on the hid bulb or if it was left off.
I had assembled everything and then noticed i had left them off...im not sure if they will fit, and dont really want to take everything apart to find out it wont fit.
    thanks,

I would assume the boot is put back after the hid metal shield is put into place?

    should it fit like factory?
The bulb i recieved has a large backing to it, which would cause the boot to be super pushed out if it fits back on.
im trying to find a picture of one similar...

okay so i pulled the metal shield out.
I then took the rubber boot flipped it inside out and put it around the bulb...i then placed the bulb into metal shield, twisted it to lock and tried placing everything into housing as one piece...
Everything seems to be fine, except for the bottom clip does not clasp....does it make that big of deal if the top part is fine?
