I have seen people posting about plug and play HID kits.

If I wanted to do HID's/LED's on my 16 off road in head and fog lights, what would I need?

H11 kit for low beams. I would hold off on the retrofit source gets the jiggles worked out of theirs,

Xenondepot has an H11 headlight LED conversion kit. It uses the copper wick system instead of a fan that can get clogged with dust and doesn't require as much room behind the light. They also have a plug and play fog light kit for LED wide beam. I purchased both and so far I am very happy. I did get the add on canbus for the headlights because I have the DRL LEDs. Easy install. I unbolted the washer fluid tank and moved it over a bit to get more room on passenger side. Took me about 30 minutes to replace all four lights. I went with a super white halogen H9 for the high beams. It was less expensive and pretty much matches the color of the LEDs and I was concerned LEDs wouldn't be powerful enough for distance for the high beams.

H11B for projector. H11A (wide angle) or H16C (normal) for fogs. H9B for high beam.

    Some of my opinions:
    • I do not recommend putting HIDs anywhere except behind the projector lens.
    • HIDs are brighter than LEDs, for now.
    • Morimoto HIDs have been used by a solid number of members on here and many have had great results.
    • https://www.theretrofitsource.com is a good place to purchase from.
    • 4300k is factory HID color temp (slightly yellow tinted). arguably the best at doing its intended job.
    • 3000k is yellow. 5000k is pure white. 6000k is slightly blue.
    • Less than 3000k and greater than 6000k are garbage.
