Looking to purchase an HID Light Kit, maybe some aftermarket headlamps as well. Anybody have any suggestions on what I should look into and what that would cost price wise?

I have the ddm H4's with slim ballasts in 6000k. If you get the bi-xenon hi-lo's you don't need to get the wiring harness, it comes with it.

Jump in on slimcubbys GB for HIDs. It ends tonight. They cost more than DDM but they are a much better product. You will see his link up in the top right corner of the home page. He will also warranty them for a year.

I can't find the exact ones I bought on their site. This kit is similar.

    http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Apexcone-Raptor-HID-Kit

Install was all plug and play.

    DDM's have a lifetime warranty.

Thats fine...as long as you can get them to actually warranty the stuff. I've herd numerous different occasions where they give you the run around or try to blame it on the owner, not the product. Not gonna argue with you...just saying.

Ok one more question. I am looking on the DDM website. It has a place for HID harness option. The dual in - dual out option is $12.50 more. What does it do and do I need it for my 02 Tacoma?

Like I noted in my earlier post, if you get the bi-xenon bulbs, the harness comes with it.

It hooks the lights to your battery.

Ive heard the terms HID KIT and HID Projector kit tossed around. Some have mentioned that it is better to get the projector kit so the lights will display corrrectly. Any info on this ????

Projectors are the convex lenses you see on cars that come with hid's. It does focus the beam much better, but good ones are pricey, and you have to open up your headlights to install. If you're up to the task, that's the way to go.

The reflectors in Tacomas are designed for halogen bulbs. People that want proper light output retrofit HID projectors into the OEM light. Projectors add to the cost but when it comes to having the best setup this is the way to go.
