HID's hotter than 5000k = Attention whore lame

You do realize that your purple 55w HID burners are putting out less visible light than a 35 watt sealed beam from a '72 Plymouth... but they are also outputting hazardous levels of ultraviolet that can damage eyes and skin at close range.

HID's hotter than 5000k get attention alright... they get attention from the political nannies who want to make ALL HID lighting illegal.

Going to have to disagree, I run 8000k's headlights and fogs, plenty of light, with just a tiny tiny tiny tinge of blue, exactly what I wanted.

No?? I drove in a light rain/misty fog whole way home today even, never had an issue. Your first gen though so it might not be the light that your having issues with but the housing reflectors themselves? :notsure:
