Im looking into buying HID lights for my truck and I have searched through the forums but cant get a set answer on a good brand and type. Im looking for something that is good quality and will last me a while but not crazy expensive. Maybe somewhere around $120. I was also thinking 6000k but a don't know if i should get 35w or 55w. Any information would be great! thanks.

I have a set of Slimcubby's HID's and they work great. I've had them for a pretty good while and not had one bit of problems out of them. I have the 35w and they are plenty bright. You will probably blind oncoming drivers with 55w. Look at some of the past group buys of slimcubby's and you will probably find answers to all of your questions.

I have a pair of DDM Tuning HIDs on my bike. Haven't had the funds to buy the kit for the truck yet but I will definitely be buying from DDM again. You will hear some negative reviews about them but I had a great experience as well as some friends have ordered through them after me and have had great service.

As far as deciding between the 35w and 55w kits... I have a buddy you has a set of 55w for the headlights and a 35w kit in his fog lights. Honestly I can't tell a whole lot of difference between the two kits, he ordered both 35w kits but they only had one set in stock and he needed the kits asap. So I would go with the 35w kit and keep some power of your system.
