Felipe, why are you getting another set?

I'm retrofitting my cousins headlights in exchange for his leer campershell and I might get a third set for the Harley

@ Nightstr, What bulbs are you running right now with your retrofit?... im debating if i should go with the philips bulbs

also how different is 5000k v. 4300k

 

^I'm running the 6000k wich are not as bright as most because of the bluish tint to it. I would most deff go with the Phillips because I've read that they are a bit brighter.

 

Adamo, PMed you about a glitch or misunderstanding. Hopefully it clears things up

 

Do the Philips bulbs come in all the different levels? or is it just one bulb.. if that makes sense.

 

They only come in 4300k which I think most BMWs come with stock. I think this was the hardest part for me because I didn't know what output color I wanted. I wish I would of gone more towards the white just because the blue is a bit dimmer but I'm still happy with mine.

what would u guys recomend i get if i got in on the GB i have 10000k HIDS high/low right now and i like the light they put off but would like maybe a more blue look idk

 

10000K is visibly purple, not white, so you dont have 10,000K most likely... 6000 are stock infiniti, (i had an 09 fx35, came stock 6000, i went to 8000, hint more blue) 10,000 is definitely blue purple...12,000K is PURPLE... 3000K is yellow, like the JDM honda fog light or Lexus IS300fog color... 4300K is almost the stock color of regular car headlights... bright, and clean light output, no blotchy, but NOT blue or Yellow, just white with hint of yellow, 5000K are white, 6000 are white with a tiny hint of blue.

if u want a little bit of a blue tint and still have a good light output i would go with 6k...edit what he said ^^^^^^^^^^

thanks for the quick reply!!!! and thats what im sayin i have a purple tint and i want id say a cool blue! really not picky just want good light i live in the country so need to c all the deer tryin to run into my truck lol

 

^in that case go with 6000k.
