I used ddm tuning, cheap and has a lifetime warranty... Had them in for almost a year now and no problems

retro fit or stick with halogens or infra red reflecting bulbs, but i'm not sure if the tacoma can even except irrb bulbs. clearcorners.com sells them way cheaper and brighter than silver stars or some other shity bulb. halogen blows i actually can not even believe that in 2010 they still make them they suck. the last 2 cars i have owned have had xenon lights and they are so much better than the shit that comes in our truck. tonight i ordered a set of egay headlights and i have on order from retrofit source mini morimoto ballasts, DS2 projectors with morimoto 5,000k bulbs, and gatling shrouds. it promises to be fucking epic when it is complete. this is the way to go 4,300 or 5,000 kelvin bulb temp will give you the best light out put. but even with aiming if you throw a set of hid bulbs into a halogen reflector you will most certainly blind everyone. dont be that guy.

This :( It's so annoying and dangerous when you have people coming towards you with super bright HIDs that aren't in a projector. It's blinding, and it's especially worse on lifted trucks where it's at eye-level with oncoming drivers.

I have the 4500k ddm tuning kits in both my fogs and headlights and have been very happy with them, the fogs are extremely bright ( i turn them off when passing people) and the 35w is plenty bright enough.

i got the 55w 5k from ddm tuning

according to their color chart, 5k is the whitest...6k has a slight bluish tint..

plus i think they match the fogs pretty well too...(i replaced them with silverstars..)

I have the 35W kit from DDM tuning. Fog and headlights, 6K. Just make sure you aim them properly. Once I re-aimed mine, I've never had someone flash their brights at me.

They aren't dangerous if you do it right. I do get blinding by other drivers who have lifted their trucks and not re-aimed though. It's very aggravating.
